After their crushing 2000 debut full-length Chapter One, The Descent, Canadian metalcore squad MAHARAHJ went through a rigorous set of lineup changes which refined the band’s sound, diversifying without weakening their approach. They dropped album #2, Repetition in 2001 -- once again with Now Or Never Recordings (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Dragbody, All Else Failed) -- a punishing release with over a half hour of methodological, metallic chaos.
