UFOMAMMUT's 2005-released third LP, Lucifer Songs is a dark, menacing trip, a powerful wall of sound while at the same time intrinsically dreaming, able to hypnotize and spellbind the listener with obsessive dilatations approaching drone music. The release of the album saw the band taking things further into their own hands by forming their own Supernatural Cat Records, and expanding into a really open, vaprous direction. Haunting, ethereal and ghostly passages which also thunder with electrified, entrancing songs, showcasing the band really finding their niche and getting comfortable with their delivery. Unreal stuff.
