CREAM ABDUL BABAR Excavation: 1995-1998 [2xCD]
$8.00
Description
The very first release from Baltimore-based Public Guilt, came in the form of this 2004-released double-disc collection of the long out-of-print early works by now defunct but never forgotten overside Tallahassee, Florida-based sludge/hardcore innovators CREAM ABDUL BABAR. Expanding the "standard lineup" with keyboards, trombone and other forms of audio manipulation/instrumentation, CAB toured with tons of acts including Mastodon, Dragbody, Meatjack, Damad, Hawg Jaw and more, and released several splits and an LP via At A Loss Recordings before their demise, but before that had unleashed all sorts of mini-releases. The 2xCD Excavation: 1995 - 1998 package includes the band's 1997 debut full-length, The Backwater of Masculine Ethics, in its entirety on disc 1, while disc 2 collects tracks from their split 7" with I Guard the Sheep, their Buried in Broken Glass EP, a live track and a remix by Larvae; 21 tracks in total.
