After releasing the CD version of ENABLER’s Flies, as the first release from THE COMPOUND, we licensed the release to London-based Holy Roar Records -- responsible for releases from Strife, Coliseum, Throats, Will Haven and more), the label sanctioned to release a vinyl version of the brutalizing EP.

Amassed in a duo of spur-of-the-moment sessions in Minneapolis and Australia in 2013, the unplanned recordings that were to become the Flies EP is the newest in ENABLER’s quickly-expanding catalog of releases, including their Southern Lord-released debut LP, All Hail The Void, and subsequent Shift of Redemption EP, released via Think Fast! Records. Mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (From Ashes Rise, Integrity, Tragedy, All Pigs Must Die), the patented ENABLER alloy of crust, punk and hardcore, relentlessly gloomy melodies and perpetually cynical “fuck off” surge heavily on Flies. Five new original rippers and a cover of Sepultura's "Arise." The 12” vinyl version is imported from London in a run of 300, with 200 available on black vinyl, 100 on clear with black splatter, all with a screenprinted B-side. [The Compound/Holy Roar]
